Geoff oversees all aspects of the fort's operations and represents Fort Meigs to the community. He is always looking for new ways to connect people to Fort Meigs and its history.

Dan Woodward

Programs Manager

Dan leads Fort Meigs' programs and events, including reenactments, educational programs, and workshops. He also manages the fort's website and social media accounts.

Ashley Phlipot

Office Manager

Ashley P. is responsible for managing Fort Meigs' accounts as well as the museum store. She is also in charge of site rentals and assists with Fort Meigs' social media accounts.

Ashley Dukeshire

Visitor Service Representative

Ashley D. helps out in the Museum Store several days each week. She is a welcoming face for visitors to Fort Meigs.

  • 2002 graduate of Evergreen High School
  • Assisted her parents with their boutique store in Blissfield, Michigan for a decade
  • Employed at Fort Meigs since April 2017

  • Loves the Toledo music scene and is especially fond of the Zimmerman Twins
  • Earned her massage therapy license in 2015
  • Really good at identifying plants

Dave Marriott

Chief of Maintenance

Dave is in charge of site maintenance and takes care of everything from cleaning the Vistor Center to cutting grass to maintaining the site's vehicles and equipment.

  • 1974 graduate of Perrysburg High School
  • Employed at Fort Meigs since March 1977
