the (wooden) musket, don a set of
cross belts, and learn to march and
train like the soldiers of His
Majesty's Britannic Army did during

While the rifle was similar to the

differences. Join the riflemen of
Fort Meigs for a discussion of their
weapons and tactics and see one

recreation of Dudley's Defeat on the
fields surrounding the fort. The
original fighting took place on May
5, 1813 - the bloodiest day of the
First Siege of Fort Meigs. |
