Take part in history with a game of Graces, Hoops, or Farkle! (Activities cease during the Ceremony)

Parade & Musket Drill

See the recreated U.S. Army gather for the day's orders and practice marching and handling the musket.

Musket Demonstration

Hear the crack of the musket and learn why linear tactics were used during the War of 1812.

2:00

Independence Day Ceremony

Join the staff and volunteers of Fort Meigs as they recreate the Independence Day Ceremony that took place at Fort Meigs in 1813 complete with an 18 gun salute, music, and toasts!

Drill with the Soldiers - Kid Friendly!

Kids (and kids at heart) can take up arms and learn to march and maneuver as the soldiers did during the War of 1812!

Learn about the 1803 Harper's Ferry rifle and how it was used on the battlefield.
