12:00 p.m.	Fort Meigs Opens
12:00 - 4:00	Period Hands-on Activities - Kid Friendly! Take part in history with a game of Graces, Hoops, or Farkle! (Activities cease during the Ceremony)
12:30	Parade & Musket Drill See the recreated U.S. Army gather for the day's orders and practice marching and handling the musket.
1:00	Musket Demonstration Hear the crack of the musket and learn why linear tactics were used during the War of 1812.
2:00	Independence Day Ceremony Join the staff and volunteers of Fort Meigs as they recreate the Independence Day Ceremony that took place at Fort Meigs in 1813 complete with an 18 gun salute, music, and toasts!
3:30	Musket Demonstration Hear the crack of the musket and learn why linear tactics were used during the War of 1812.
4:00	Drill with the Soldiers - Kid Friendly! Kids (and kids at heart) can take up arms and learn to march and maneuver as the soldiers did during the War of 1812!
4:30	Artillery Demonstration Experience the roar of a cannon and learn more about these powerful weapons. Don't forget to cover your ears!
5:00	Fort Meigs Closes

9:30 a.m.	Fort Meigs Opens
10:00 - 2:00	Period Hands-on Activities - Kid Friendly! Take part in history with a game of Graces, Hoops, or Farkle!
10:30	Musket Demonstration Hear the crack of the musket and learn why linear tactics were used during the War of 1812.
11:00	Fiber Arts Demonstration See how fabric and thread was made, colored, and used in the early 1800s.
11:30	Artillery Demonstration Experience the roar of a cannon and learn more about these powerful weapons. Don't forget to cover your ears!
12:00 p.m.	Rifle Demonstration Learn about the 1803 Harper's Ferry rifle and how it was used on the battlefield.
on-going	Tinsmithing Learn about the skills needed to shape tin into useful items.
