Ten Centuries of Soldiers
See the evolution of the common soldier. Soldiers, artisans, and civilians give demonstrations throughout the weekend. Period military camps are open for visiting. Weapon demonstrations take place each day and try your hand at the "Pike College"!
A tremendous thunder gust last night with heavy rain and hail, this morning pleasant. Mr. Asa Stoddard, Major Spafford and Major Farley arrived here with two boats from Cleveland laden with produce and dry goods; I got twenty-four pounds of butter, a bag of pickles and a large cheese.
