Hands-on History Saturday

"A Soldier's Life"

April 5, 2008

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

After a long winter, Fort Meigs’ gates are re-opened. Help us kick-off the 2008 season with a “bang” as we present A Soldier’s Life. Witness musket demonstrations and learn about the life of a soldier or camp follower during the War of 1812 by experiencing the activities that soldiers performed on a daily basis like laundry, drilling with the musket, and marching. Activities are included with your paid admission.
