Fort Meigs'

Re-enactor Database

All fields are required ( * )

What is this?

Each year, Fort Meigs receives numerous requests from community groups and organizations throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana for re-enactors to attend their events. Examples include Veteran of Foreign War ceremonies, American Legion functions, and area historical society talks.

We often get requests for re-enactors of time periods other than our own, like American Revolution, Civil War, and World War II. Even when requests for War of 1812 soldiers come in, fort staff and volunteers cannot always commit to them due to scheduling conflicts.

If you have ever attended a Fort Meigs event in the past, we have your contact information in our event database, however

FORT MEIGS DOES NOT HAND OUT CONTACT INFORMATION WITHOUT PERMISSION

In order to better serve our community, we want to create a separate database of re-enactor's information that we have consent to give out to third parties. When an appropriate request is made of Fort Meigs, we will offer the third party a list of all the people who fit their needs, i.e; a VFW Hall in Findlay, Ohio is looking for WWII re-enactors for a color guard for a funeral. We would offer them a list, drawn from the new database, of WWII re-enactors who live in that area. Any inappropriate requests for re-enactor's information will not be honored. If you wish to be included in this list, please take a few moments to fill out the form below. Thank you!
